Bish Mill is located at the doorway to Exmoor National Park and the breathtaking North Devon coast is just half an hour away by car. The coast offers glorious sandy beaches, stunning scenery and unrivalled coastal walks.
There’s so much to see and do in North Devon with activities for everyone whether you choose a cycle ride down the lovely Tarka Trail, a leisurely trek over the moors or to surf the waves at Croyde – and even if the weather takes a turn for the worse, there's just as much fun to be had undercover! 
The picturesque village of Bishop’s Nympton, home of TV wildlife celebrity Johnny Kingdom is just over a mile away.
The small traditional town of South Molton is a five minute car ride away and has a thriving pannier market held on a Thursday and Saturday along with a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, Post Office and banks.
Approx. 12 miles from Barnstaple on A361 – good selection of well-known shops and market, 15 miles from Tiverton, 25 miles from Ilfracombe – can get boat from here to Lundy Island or can get it from Bideford which is approx. 20 miles away.
Just over an hours drive will get you to Bude in Cornwall if you fancy going further a field .
There are many attractions within driving distance – Big Sheep, Exmoor Zoo, Rosemoor Gardens, etc.
