Set in the beautiful North Devon countryside not far from the coast, Jasmine Chapel has been sensitively converted and tastefully decorated to provide excellent Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Originally a place of worship from 1839 until 1978, Jasmine Chapel now boasts three good sized bedrooms – one upstairs and two on the ground floor. These centrally heated rooms are well appointed with Satellite TV and DVD players, fresh linen, towels and complimentary hospitality trays. Each room also has a mini fridge.
Each of the ground floor rooms, one double room and one optional twin or double room, enjoy easy access en-suite shower facilities, while upstairs there is one large double room with its own private and separate bathroom.
Breakfast is served in the main house conservatory overlooking our lovely garden which is bordered by the old Mill Leat and a small copse. Together with a range of bird feeders attracting a variety of feathered friends, your morning view is complimented by a splendid fare of hot local produce, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and homemade preserves. Special diets can also be catered for on request.
Our three Bedrooms located in Jasmine Chapel are uniquely individual, comfortably equipped and newly decorated. The Barum and Exmoor Rooms on the lower floor have been purposefully designed for easy access and entrance with oversized doorways, raised electrical points and light switches together with little enhancement like lever taps on all sinks. All rooms enjoy WiFi access and a selection of DVD’s and books for guest enjoyment and comfort.
There is no smoking throughout the property.
Off road parking is available to all guests.
The Exmoor Room
Pre -arranged for you as either a King Size Double Bedroom or comfortable Twin Bedroom, The Exmoor enjoys an easy access en-suite shower facility, wall mounted satellite television and DVD player, hot drink making facilities, mini fridge and room controlled central heating.
The Barum Room
The Barum Room is a full Double Bedroom which also enjoys an easy access en-suite shower facility, wall mounted satellite television and DVD player, hot drink making facilities, mini fridge and room controlled central heating.
The Lundy Room
Located up the stairs the Lundy Room has its own unique separate private bathroom with toilet, basin and shower over the bath. With comfortable double bed, satellite television and DVD player, hot drink making facilities, mini fridge and room controlled central heating.
Special Features
The garden, with ramped and railed access, attracts an abundance of wildlife and visitors from the surrounding fields with natural and manmade water features, fruit trees, shrubs, roses, perennial plants, lawn and paved area. Relaxed and tranquil with nature is how we see it and all guests are encouraged to wander and enjoy this part of the property.
