About Us

We retired to Bish Mill in 2008.  It had always been our dream to settle in this lovely area of North Devon with its beautiful countryside boarded by a dramatic and exciting coastline.Pat & Keith with Sam

We had both worked previously for many years as teachers in special education working with physically disabled pupils.  It was a very rewarding experience and many of the parents told us how difficult it was for them to find suitable holiday accommodation. We had always wanted to have a small B & B when we retired and we fell in love with Jasmine Cottage as soon as we saw it.  Jasmine Chapel has been converted to include some adaptations which will make it suitable for some people with limited mobility who need easy access.

We have a small Jack Russell called ‘Sam’ and he enjoys coastal and countryside walks with us.

We are enjoying developing the garden and finding ways to encourage wildlife to visit it.  There are many species of birds which already visit our feeders including Blue Tits, Great Tits, Nuthatches and Woodpecker.  The fields behind the Chapel are home to rabbits and pheasants.

"We are sure you will feel at home in Jasmine Cottage B&B and enjoy beautiful North Devon as much as we do".
